PLAN A VISIT

THANK YOU FOR JOINING US!

We know it can be intimidating to try something new.  Here are few tips on what to expect when you arrive.

In-person services have resumed!

  WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • In accordance with state and local guidelines, please wear a mask (if you are able).

  • The main areas of the campus have been sanitized per CDC guidelines.

  • We have resumed the regular format for adult worship services. Children are welcome. There is no separate nursery, preschool, kids or middle school youth programming during our services. Children's programming has moved online. Please visit our 'Kids Ministry Page' for past and current episodes of Ridge Kids Online and God's Wild Kingdom Online (for preschoolers). Children's check-in and registration is not required. Room A-1 is available for diaper changing and nursing mothers. UPDATE: Children's ministry will resume in-person services beginning September 12th at 5 PM and September 13th at 11 AM. Please visit our Kids Ministry Page for complete information and safety requirements.

  • Kids will wiggle, giggle, and make noise. We encourage them to participate.  We understand it's hard for kids to sit still for an hour + the younger they are.  Parents should bring snacks, small toys, or writing and drawing materials for their little ones.

  • There will be a a middle school service Saturday at 5pm and a high school service Saturday at 7 PM in the new youth building. Contact Tag@stoneridgechurch.com about health and safety guidelines for the youth service.

  • For your convenience, giving boxes are available at the back of the auditorium. (We will not be passing a collection box). You can also give online by visiting our 'Giving' Page or by texting the amount you want to give to 84321

  • Please leave 3 chairs between family units in the auditorium.

  • Please respect other’s boundaries. Do not assume people are willing to hug or shake hands. Ask first.

  • New cases of Covid-19 are discovered in Yuma County every day. We completely understand if you want to wait a little longer before coming back to in-person worship. We will be streaming the service live Saturday at 5 PM and have online services Sunday at 9 AM & 11 AM.

  • We will continue to re-open and resume operations in stages in the weeks to come.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE:

Our Services:

SAT | 5 PM: This service is the most casual.  Though the loudest and most high-energy, people of all generations attend this service. Full children’s programming is available at this service though some age-groups and classes may be combined.

SUN | 9 AM:  This is our most traditional service. Many of our seniors attend as the music is intentionally quieter and slightly more classic.  Full children’s programming is available for this service.

SUN | 11 AM:  This is a contemporary service. Many of our families attend this service as full children’s programming is available as well as the Middle School Youth Service.

Youth Services:

SAT | 7 PM | HIGH SCHOOL: This service is for all high school students and is held in the Youth Building at the far end of the campus.  This is a high-energy, high impact service that is tailored for older teens.  Please visit the Youth Page to learn more.

SUN | 11 AM | MIDDLE SCHOOL:  This service is exclusively for middle school students and is conveniently held on Sunday mornings when their families are most likely to attend.  This service is tailored specifically for younger teens and is held in the Youth Building at the far end of the campus.  Please visit the Youth Page to learn more.

WHAT TO WEAR:

We are truly a “come as you are” church. Our manner of dress is all over the spectrum, because we have people from every church background and experience. Expect to see anything from suits and dresses to active wear.

WHERE TO GO UPON ARRIVAL:

Plenty of guest parking is available at the front of the parking lot, nearest the main buildings.  Upon parking, please visit our WELCOME CENTER which is located on the left side of the first building (B-Building) through the first door on the right as you approach. You will be greeted by friendly staff and volunteers who will give you information, answer questions, and direct you where you need to go.

VISITING WITHOUT CHILDREN:

  • We will ask for contact information so that our pastors can personally welcome you, give you additional information about our church, and offer you an open line of communication.

  • We will give you extra information about our church and answer any questions.

  • You will be escorted by a friendly volunteer to our auditorium (and probably introduced to lots of people along the way) who will also help you find a comfortable seat.

  • We do not have paper bulletins. Our events and announcements are visible in pre and post service slide shows on the screens to the left and right of the stage.

  • Giving boxes are available at the back of the auditorium in lieu of passing a collection box.

VISITING WITH CHILDREN:

  • Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the service you want to attend. Upon entering the Welcome Center, you will be directed to the Kids Check-In station. Your child’s safety is our top priority. We will ask for information for each child. (To minimize check-in time, please pre-register your children at least 24 hours in advance with our online form.)

    • All Kids and Youth Ministry volunteers are extensively screened.

    • We do not use pagers. We will use your cell phone number to text you if your child is in need during service.

    • Please visit our Kids Ministry Page for additional information.

  • A volunteer will escort you and your child(ren) to their classroom(s) and introduce you to their teachers, ensuring their comfort and yours before you leave.

  • You’ll be escorted to the auditorium (and probably introduced to lots of people along the way) and found a comfortable seat.
