Danny Marron Scholarship
The Danny Marron Scholarship is a $1,000 award created to honor the life and legacy of Danny Marron—a beloved member of Stone Ridge Church who was known as a faithful friend, mentor, volunteer, father, professor, husband, and lifelong champion of students and learning. Though he is no longer with us, his passion for education and his heart for people continue to make an impact through this scholarship.
This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors from Yuma County—or students who have completed their education through homeschooling—who plan to enroll at Arizona Western College for the Fall 2026 semester. It is designed to support students as they take their next step in education, just as Danny so often encouraged others to do.
Funded in part by the generosity of our youth ministry and additional community donations, this scholarship reflects a shared commitment to investing in the next generation. We are honored to carry forward Danny’s legacy by helping students pursue their goals, grow in knowledge, and step confidently into their future.
