Dear Stone Ridge Family, Raising kids is tough work. Parents must constantly weigh the balance between too much or too little discipline, too many or too few activities, and scheduling family time. This Sunday we will discover that God's Word has something to say about this. Believe it or not, it's from the Psalms! Congratulations to two teens from Stone Ridge who have distinguished themselves recently. Corinne Webb has been elected as the Student Body President at Yuma High School for next year. Corinne will be the first junior elected to this position. Jessica Smith has been selected as cheerleading captain at Yuma High and was recently named as Prom Princess. Both of these girls have been at Stone Ridge their entire lives. They are leaders in our youth ministry and have servant’s hearts. I'm grateful for the influence God is giving them and many other teens who love and serve Him. Kathie Schotten is busy putting together the team to work with Vacation Bible School. This is a great place to serve and I encourage you to sign up! Those of you who are really courageous may also want to consider being a sponsor for one of the three camps Stone Ridge young people will attend this summer. Contact the church office for details. Sincerely,
